Dr. Juan Gamboa

For more than 39 years, Dr. Juan Gamboa has dedicated his career to the health, performance, and longevity of the equine athlete. He graduated as a veterinarian in 1986, followed by an internship at Louisiana State University and a Residency at the School of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Florida. His extensive background in the hunter/jumper show industry informs a practice built on precision, experience, and a deep understanding of the physical demands placed on performance horses.

Dr. Gamboa’s services include comprehensive lameness evaluation, pre‑purchase examinations, and full‑spectrum management of the performance horse. His diagnostic capabilities include digital ultrasound, endoscopy, and digital radiography. He offers advanced regenerative therapies such as IRAP, PRP, and Stem Cell Therapy, as well as acupuncture, mesotherapy, and additional modalities tailored specifically to the equine athlete.

Equine dentistry for the performance horse is also an integral part of his practice, including preventive and corrective dental evaluation and treatment.

Dr. Gamboa is available for in‑person services throughout Florida.
