Lameness Exams

Our lameness evaluations are designed to identify the source of discomfort, performance limitation, or altered gait in the equine athlete. Examinations may include jogging and under‑saddle evaluations, flexion tests, diagnostic nerve and joint blocks, digital radiography, and ultrasonography. Each component is selected based on the horse’s presentation and the specific demands of its discipline.

When the case warrants further investigation, referral for full bone scans, CTs, myelograms, MRIs, or other advanced imaging can be arranged at specialized referral centers. We coordinate all arrangements to ensure continuity of care and timely access to the necessary diagnostics.
